Baccarat really boils down to this one point: the Punto player playing against the Banco (Banker) and each player is vying to win one hand with nine points. Baccarat is also known as Punto Banco. The banker can only bet Banco, and the other player, Punto, can bet on either Punto or Banco. A special Baccarat Shoe is used for distributing the Baccarat cards held by the Banker until they lose to Punto. The Banker wins more often, so the casino collects five percent of Banco's winnings.
How to play
1) Collect two cards from the Baccarat dealer.
2) Then compare card values with your opponent.
3) The player highest and closest to 9 wins Baccarat.
4) If both players have 9, the cards are returned to the dealer and another round is dealt.
5) A Natural is a Baccarat hand of 8 or 9, and no more cards are dealt.
6) There are situations in which the online casino will allow a third card to be dealt, and the player closest to nine wins the hand.
Rules
1) Only cards with a maximum face value of 9 are used in Baccarat.
2) Suits of cards (hearts, clubs etc) don't count in Baccarat. 3) When card values reach 10 or more, the left digit is removed, making a 13 a 3.
